CommiTtee information

We’re always looking for keen volunteers to become members of the Mornington Toy Library committee and help us shape the future of the library for our community.

Welcome!

Our committee is there to support and sustain the running of the toy library through volunteering their time to help with day to day running, grants, fundraising etc.

We are run by a voluntary committee with committee members entitled to a number of benefits, including discounted membership.

We meet every 8 weeks and if you are interested in becoming a committee member please chat to one of our friendly volunteers or email [email protected]

Our Story

I joined the Committee when I was 6 months pregnant with my second child – it wasn’t exactly on my ‘to do list’ at the time but i’m so glad that I went to that first meeting because after that I was hooked.

Four years on and I met some wonderful people who I now call friends.

I got to have a voice about the direction of the toy library and choose toys.

And I love that I’m making memories that I know my kids will remember even when they are adults and hopefully take their children to their local Toy Library.

What Our Families are Saying

The Toy Library is such a vital part of the Mornington community. Both our kids adore the Library and look forward to visiting each week. In addition, the 'borrowing' mindset it has instilled in our children stays with them through their day to day lives.
